If you could hear me, I would say that our fingerprints don’t fade from the lives we’ve touched..

I am letting go of thoughts that do not make me strong.

It wasn’t so hard to cross that street after all, it just depends on who is waiting on the other side.

The hardest-learned lesson: that people have only their kind of love to give, not our kind.

I think less of you dear, but more about you.

The fact that we are all human beings is infinitely more important than all the peculiarities that distinguish humans from one another.

I think books are like people, in the sense that they’ll turn up in your life when you most need them.
